ARCO Safety Program Objectives

• ARCO strives to eliminate accidents and injuries to our associates and subcontractors’ associates and avoid property damage.
• We maintain an excellent EMR rating. Our current EMR is .78, which is well below the industry average.

ARCO Safety Program Key Elements

• ARCO conducts Weekly Safety “Tool Box” Talks for all ARCO and subcontractor field personnel.
• Weekly Safety Inspections are documented by the Jobsite Superintendent using an 80-point checklist.
• Pre-job meetings are held with key subcontractors to plan upcoming work safety.
• A DVD introduction to Arco’s Safety Program is required for all ARCO associates and subcontractors.
• Our Safety Handbook is distributed to all ARCO and subcontractor personnel.
